Luis Albornoz at the Pata de Cabra Festival galas

Luis Albornoz performed in the galas of the Pata de Cabra International Magic Festival at the Teatro Municipal de Las Condes, under the direction of Jean Paul Olhaberry. He shared the programme with Tina Lenert and Mike Caveney from the United States, Ricardo Rodríguez from Spain, Sebastián Semba from Argentina, and Arturo Fuenzalida from Chile.

The galas brought several approaches to illusionism onto one stage, from visual magic and manipulation to comedy and physical theatre. Alongside his performances, Albornoz joined Arturo Fuenzalida for the conversation ‘Creativity as a stage language’. They discussed how an artistic work takes shape and what happens when magic enters into dialogue with other performing arts.
