Alrededor del fuego. Presentaciones memorables

Before the screens and slides, we met around the fire to tell stories, share knowledge and build community. Alrededor del fuego takes that idea back: a presentation can help people understand, remember and wish to act.

The program works with narrative architecture, simplicity, persuasion, performing presence and relation with the audience. It combines communication, artistic experience and illusionism to transform complex ideas into clear accounts.

The methodology starts with the actual presentations of each participant: To recognize what needs to be counted, to remove what's distracted and to build an account capable of generating confidence and facilitating agreements. It can be performed as a charla-workshop or as an intensive 6 hour experience, adapted to each group.

Alrededor del fuego has been developed for universities, businesses, organisations and spaces related to innovation, including the University of Atacama, Kinross and the agency catalytic-A in Bolivia.

Fundación Atacamagica entered and coordinated a day of Alrededor del fuego for fellows and fellows from Minera Candelaria with participation from Atacama University. The creation and conduct of the conference and workshop corresponds to Luis Albornoz.
