The experience

Accompanying continuity of studies.

The Programa de Becas Minera Candelaria accompanied students from Copiapó, Caldera and Tierra Amarilla in their continuation in higher education. In addition to economic benefits, she saw mentoring, monitoring and training meetings.

Impact

148 students have been awarded and have been added to the historic archives.

The first version incorporated 76 students and the second added 72 new students. A 2020 institutional publication reported 148 trainees accumulated since 2018. The figure is a historic statement of the program and does not represent an up-to-date and 2026 figure.

The same source reported 112 active fellows and 120 benefits by 2020. These units belong to a different cut and should not be added to 148 accumulated students.

The Foundation's role

Accompanying students.

The Foundation helped to prepare Programa de Becas Minera Candelaria and administered its first phases. His team coordinated benefits, mentoring and monitoring for higher education students from Copiapó, Caldera and Tierra Amarilla with training meetings.
